INFORMACJE O MOJEJ OSOBIE.

Nazywam się Szymon Politowski, mam 28 lat i od ponad 10 lat pracuję w branży technicznej. Specjalizuję się w elektrotechnice, automatyce przemysłowej oraz systemach grzewczych. Swoją karierę rozpocząłem jako pomocnik budowlany, a następnie jako monter instalacji hydraulicznych i elektrycznych. Z czasem przeszedłem do bardziej złożonych projektów, prowadząc własną działalność gospodarczą, w ramach której:

zrealizowałem i zmodernizowałem około 45 kotłowni oraz instalacji sanitarnych (w tym kotły gazowe, pompy ciepła i systemy na paliwa stałe), zmodernizowałem instalacje elektryczne w ponad 40 domach i mieszkaniach, zaprojektowałem i wykonałem dziesiątki rozdzielnic elektrycznych oraz szaf sterowniczych.

Miałem okazję współpracować z wieloma firmami w Polsce i za granicą, m.in. Nestlé, Exide Technologies, Vicim, Executive-Solutions, Hacop Toruń oraz Lem-Bud. Od 2020 roku koncentruję się na elektrotechnice, a od 2022 roku intensywnie rozwijam swoje kompetencje w zakresie automatyki przemysłowej i systemów elektrycznych. Nieustannie poszerzam swoje umiejętności – od 2019 roku ukończyłem liczne oficjalne szkolenia i kursy zawodowe, które pozwalają mi podejmować coraz bardziej wymagające projekty.

01. INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION.

I have over 4 years of experience in industrial automation. My expertise has been built not only through hands-on work but also through numerous professional trainings and courses. I have a solid understanding of PLC programming, industrial communication protocols, drive technology (including inverters, servo drives, and stepper motors), as well as safety systems and many more.

02. ELECTRICAL WORK.

I have almost 6 years of experience in electrical work. In the beginning, I focused on basic electrical modifications, connecting heat pumps, and installing air conditioning systems. For the past 4 years, I have been working in industrial automation, gaining solid knowledge of contactors, power supplies, relays, control systems, and more.

03. OTHER SKILLS.

Through my work in maintenance and different environments, I have gained many useful skills. I know the basics of mechanics and pneumatics and understand how heating systems work in homes and factories.

Additional certifications

I also hold several technical certifications required for working with electrical, heating, and cooling systems in Poland. These include:

  • VCA BASIC / SCC 018 – Basic certification in occupational safety, health, and environment for operational staff, confirming competence to work safely in high-risk industries.
  • Driving License Lift Operator – Authorization to operate forklifts and lifting equipment in compliance with safety standards.
  • Work at Height – Certification to perform tasks at elevated locations, ensuring competence in fall protection and safe work practices.
  • Manual Transport Work – Training in safe manual handling and transport of loads, reducing risk of injury and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • SEP G1 (up to 1kV) – Operation and Supervision – Authorization to operate and supervise electrical installations and devices up to 1,000 volts.
  • SEP G2 – Operation – Qualification to operate heating systems and equipment (thermal energy).
  • SEP G3 – Operation – Authorization to work with gas systems and installations.
  • F-Gas Certificate – Certification for handling fluorinated greenhouse gases, required for servicing refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump systems.

These certifications ensure compliance with Polish regulations and guarantee safe, professional handling of electrical and HVAC systems.

Work.


PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE.

I work as an automation engineer at a company specializing in stage technology and the production of control cabinets for theaters and opera houses. On a daily basis, I design and commission control systems – programming PLCs, HMI panels, and handling stage electrics. My role also includes component assembly and a wide range of tasks related to automation.

ZAKŁAD AUTOMATYKI PRZEMYSŁOWEJ / 2025 – PRESENT

I supported the maintenance department in a modern, highly automated food production facility. My main responsibilities included diagnosing electrical and electronic faults, remotely connecting to Allen-Bradley PLCs via Asset Centre, analyzing PLC program errors, and resolving industrial automation issues. I conducted periodic inspections of machines such as extruders, mixers, industrial ovens, dryers, and conveyor lines, while assisting electricians and implementing improvements in automation and electrical systems. This work allowed me to gain extensive experience in operating and maintaining advanced production systems, significantly enhancing my industrial automation skills

Cereal Partners Poland Toruń Pacific / 2024

At Exide Polska, I was responsible for diagnosing and optimizing control systems, working with Siemens S7-300, S7-1200, S7-1500, as well as Allen-Bradley SLC500 and ControlLogix PLCs. I analyzed PLC program failures and electrical faults in machinery, resolving them promptly to ensure continuous production. I implemented improvements to assembly lines, increasing efficiency and minimizing downtime. I specialized in automation modernizations and designing electrical solutions that support production processes and enhance equipment reliability.

Exide Technologies / 2023

At Vicim in Toruń, a company specializing in rubber and plastic components for the automotive industry, I worked as a Maintenance Technician. My role was key in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of injection molding machines. My main responsibilities included diagnosing and repairing machines to minimize downtime, implementing preventive maintenance programs, analyzing and optimizing production processes, and providing technical support and training to machine operators. I also maintained detailed documentation of inspections, repairs, and modifications, while collaborating closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to achieve operational goals. During my tenure, I developed advanced skills in machine maintenance and process optimization, contributing to higher production efficiency and equipment reliability.

Vicim Toruń / 2023

 

I operated my own business, carrying out private projects in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region. I specialized in the installation of gas boiler rooms and heat pumps, sanitary and electrical systems, underfloor heating, and modernization of existing electrical installations. I independently planned and executed projects, selecting appropriate technical solutions while ensuring timely and high-quality completion. This experience allowed me to develop strong project management skills, precise diagnostic abilities, and expertise in implementing comprehensive heating and electrical systems.
